Heh. Caco Time. I think this and the strawberry fromage is what prompted Guinea Pig LunarGeography to buy this for the Review. I’m kinda glad she did because Caco Time? Yum!

These little fellas are a dollop of delicious, if a touch Frankenberryesque, strawberry white chocolate on top of a dollop of delicious creamy white chocolate. If they were going for a cheesecake fromage then I’d say they’ve done well representing that flavor in white chocolate. Somehow they’ve also managed better than well, for one of my Pigs is not so fond of cheesecake yet he liked these critters. How can you taste cheesecake and not taste so much cheesecake in the same candy?

The strawberry is absolutely flavorful as well (even if it’s about a 6 or 7 on the 10 point strawberry as a fruit taste scale) and also aromatic. None of my Pigs were bothered that this didn’t taste like from the vine (?) strawberries as much as it could because what it tasted like was yum.

And then! When you bite into a…fromage? Caco? you get a thin layer of strawberry glaze (or something that is dark red, and deliciously strawberry) which you don’t often find in a treat like this. The Pigs really liked this particular snack. I took a look over at the snack listing since we waffled between a 4 and a 4.5 for a rating and I’d say Strawberry Fromage is a high 4 but perhaps not quite a 4.5. It’s close though, maybe a 4.35 or a 4.4. Considering my cheesecake dissing Pig was willing to go a 4 and that the rest of us who do enjoy a good cheesecake enjoyed that flavor in the Caco Time candy, I believe I’ll rate these a borderline but tasty

Rating of 4.5 wasabi peas out of a possible 5 wasabi peas.

I’ve said it before, but if you want, I can pack some JSF from Canada and mail it down to review?
