\nMy J-List enabler Guinea Pig added these to the great December showcasing order of J-List snacks because who wouldn’t<\/I> want to try caramel KitKats? KitKats are tasty and caramel is also tasty. It should have been a match made in heaven but alas, it was more like an arrangement made in Newark. <\/p>\n


\nThese were mini KitKats so they came in a big bag of little treats.<\/p>\n


\nWith a pumpkin so maybe they were Halloween KitKats. They also came with a pretty cloyingly sweet generic caramel smell that is pretty pervasive. I’ve had one unwrapped while photo shooting a few snacks and now my workspace smells of low end caramel. And that is the problem with these KitKats…poor caramel. It’s a little too sweet, a little too manufactured and a little too much like caramel donut frosting rather than tasty delicious caramel. Meh.<\/p>\n

We noticed that there were several different wrapper messages which amused us somewhat. Neither me nor my Pigs reads Japanese (or reads it well, two are learning) so we had no idea what they said.<\/p>\n


\nHere are the KitKats saying their peace anyhow in case one of you Junkies can read the language. Maybe they are like fortune cookies? With the message on the outside so you don’t have to open them? That was a nice thought actually. It can’t bode well when I get all the leftover KitKats to dump anonymously in the work candy jar. I’m just sayin.<\/p>\n

The Pigs and I know caramel can be done better than this and that Nestle has the wherewithal to do so but for whatever reason, they didn’t. We suggest you pass these KitKats by for any of the other KitKats because bad caramel isn’t worth it.<\/p>\n
