\nSweets for my Sweets, here’s your Valentine’s edition of the JSFR for 2009: Sequoia Chocolate in the strawberry flavor. These came by the way of oft Guinea Pig DQ this past Christmas and once we tried them, we knew they would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. After all, what better way to say Happy Hallmark Induced Day of Love and Adoration than with a Strawberry Quick flavored white chocolate coated sugar wafer bar? None! There is none better way to express that sentiment.<\/p>\n

Well…unless you are buying for your diabetic sweetie, then perhaps you should page back to the Strawberry Omelettes<\/a> which were quite a bit less sweetie-sweet. Seriously, Sequoia chocolates (strawberry) are so sweet they can kill a diabetic from 10 paces. In fact not only did I just get a cavity munching on my review sample, I think the cats might have also gotten cavities and they haven’t had any of the Sequoias. Both my Guinea Pigs commented that these strawberry fellas were more candy than cookie really despite the interior waferness. They also commented on the pow’ful strawberry smell. I had a couple bars still sealed up in their packaging and while I was getting ready to write the review, the Strawberry Sequoias were doing their best to take over my workspace with their delicious creamy strawberry smell. Still! In! The! Package! These fellas are working for the strawberry.<\/p>\n

Not that Strawberry Sequoias need to work that hard to convince you that they are indeed that awesome strawberry flavoring you might find in\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6well exactly Strawberry Quick. Fresh from the vine strawberry? Not a chance but if you ever wondered what a white chocolate strawberry quick accident involving sugar wafers tasted like, these are your treat.<\/p>\n


\nThey are also a little lizardy looking for whatever reason. I can deal with that, the sugar wafers give the Sequoias a pretty good crunchity to go along with the awesome Strawberry Quicky and ginormous sweety sweet.<\/p>\n

The Pigs and I thought that while very Strawberrific in that not from the fruit kind of way and quite a bit more sweet than we were expecting, Sequoia Chocolate (strawberry) was a decent treat. We’d get it again but probably not as a staple which lead us to think that a<\/p>\n
