Over the holidays, I digitized my family’s antique record collection. Every Monday for 2009, I’m going to try to post a new recording of a very old record.
Some of these are going to be single-sided recordings, others will be both “A” and “B” sides. And there may be special songs for special events in there too.
This site lets you look up any Victor recording prior to 1916 by any number of terms, including the catalog number.
This site covers pretty much everything else… It’s a little less friendly to use, but hugely comprehensive.
