My Fiancee and I are heading up to East Lansing later today for a film festival. We’re planning on attending two movies, “Gigantic” – a documentary about the band They Might Be Giants and “Bubbahotep” – Bruce Campbell’s latest movie.
I’d read about “Bubbahotep” on some sci-fi entertainment web site, basically that it was done and looking for distribution. I’d never heard about “Gigantic” but thanks to a friend of mine, I’ve turned into a bit of a They Might Be Giants fan.
Do you ever get a song stuck in your head? It can be really annoying, and the only way to get them out is to give them to someone else. Sometimes my Fiancee and I will have dueling TMBG songs, each of us trying to give our song to the other… Usually it starts off with “Anna Ng” or one of the little parts of “Fingertips” and it escalates from there… Usually “Spacesuit” is the peak of the battle, and we both wind up humming that one.
