Geocaching!

My folks got a GPS receiver over the holidays and we spent a healthy chunk of the afternoon looking for little hidden canisters in various locations around the town. Three out of four isn’t bad for our first outing…

We got an “Ishpeming Ski Club” pin out of this particular cache, and left one of the insane crane posse from the dashboard of the bug. I’m sure this is going to become an ongoing hobby, once we get our own receiver. I’ve even started a new category just for geocaching.
