The big boxed set of FinalCut Studio HD arrived today, and I’m installing it on the beastly huge desktop machine that’s substituting for my poor logic-board fried powerbook. And now I’ve got a dilemma. When the P’book gets back will I be able to deal with its shortcomings?
Granted it has a faster graphics card and more RAM than the desktop machine I’m using. On the other hand, the desktop machine has dual processors and a massive amount of free disc space. It can’t run Motion HD, but it’s got plenty of room for video scratch files.
We’ll see.
