Well. It feels like I haven’t updated here for ages, and here it turns out that it’s only been 2/3 of a month. Still, that is forever in Internet Time, so I suppose I’d best get off my duff and get back to providing semi-regular updates.
I took my Wife’s advice and posted a backlog of links to the comic (which I have been updating on a weekly basis, thankyouverymuch) so that folks who only know how to get to it from here will still know that it’s there.
Even though I haven’t missed an update, I have been a bit lax in my comic-prep duties. I’ve got no backlog of strips, which means I sometimes find myself uploading stuff to the server at the last minute. Part of my problem is that I haven’t been taking as many pictures as I used to. I think it’s a bit of the same post-Smithee malaise that has kept me from writing here.
It’s a bit unfair, really. While prepping for the show, I’m too busy to write anything here. After the show, I’m kind of worn out and depressed, so I don’t bother to write anything. Interestingly, it seems I’m in good company for that sort of thing. Eric Burns over at Websnark made a recent-ish post about his recent lack of posting, and part of the blame is laid squarely at the feet of his recent appearance on stage.
Anyway, I’m going to try to post more here, and post here more regularly. Maybe not daily, but at least less weakly.
