Pokka Oolong Tea
Well. Sometimes at the JSFR things are exactly as they appear. This can says “Oolong Tea (sugar free)” and that’s exactly what’s inside. There is no chemical before, during or after taste, no sweetie sweet, no strange flavors, textures, alien pod people or anything other than Oolong tea. Pokka’s Oolong tea has that edgy green tea flavor which is softened by something a little darker-tea tasting just like leaf Oolong tea. If you are looking for a Oolong tea tasting canned Oolong tea then pick up a can of this. You won’t be disappointed.
I was amused by the origins of this snack food (snack drink?). Pokka appears to be a Japanese company as the can says “under the licence and the strictest quality control of Pokka Corp. Japan”. But! The very next blurbit lets us know that it was manufactured in Singapore. That’s JSF expanding in a march across the world for you, but that’s not the end either. After being made in Singapore, it gets distributed by Australia and finally imported by France. My brain is spinning.
It’s a good Oolong tea in a can with a funny (and well traveled) story, I think I’ll give it a
Rating of 3.5 Wasabi Pea out of a possible 5.

I am a big fan of this drink. Out of a market consisting mainly of drinks powered up by sucrose australia is steadily climbing up to the american super sweet gunk. This tea hits the spot with a delicate taste with an edge if somethins i can only say ive tasted in canned beer (presumably the taste of alluminium or something). Excellent to ballance out a spicy or solty soy sauce dipped sushi or seaweed salad.
does anyone know where i can order bulk supply of this.
